Why Achievemost

Dan is engaged with R. B. Markets-Achievemost as an ongoing consultant and advisor. He spent the past 30 years involved in the agricultural protein industry, mostly in strategy, new product development, and exports.

In the poultry industry, Dan was mostly engaged in the exporting of USA chicken and turkey to markets including China, Russia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. This was expanded to include third country trading of protein products from Argentina and Brazil into the same market destinations. He co-founded and was president of Agri Trade International, Inc., and took this company from conception to $26 million in annual sales in six years. During this period, he was active in the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council. He served this organization as its chairman of the board, various executive board positions and as a standing member of its strategic planning committee.

In the egg, egg products, and related humane and sustainable agricultural consumer products, Dan worked with Radlo Foods, LLC. Dan focused in the area of strategic development, exporting its products, and as vice president of business development. The shell egg exporting markets included Cuba, Hong Kong and Dubai. He also worked in new product development of the USA dairy case, which included specialty eggs, liquid eggs, processed egg products, humane protein and dairy. This included functions from use of contract co-packers, bringing a concept into production, cost control and marketing liaison. He was also responsible for the creation and/or review, including the legal consultation, for all contracts of any nature that the company contemplated. Dan also served on the board of directors of this company.

Dan was educated at the University of South Carolina and holds a BS in Business Management and an MBA.
